  • Rude Awakening is a live album by American heavy metal band Megadeth. It is the last release before the band was broken up for the first time in 2002, was released by Sanctuary Records in 2002. (The band was 'restarted' in 2004, with only Dave Mustaine remaining from the previous lineup. ) The album was going to be recorded live at a concert in Argentina, but due to the September 11, 2001 attacks, the band decided to record it live in the United States.

  • The Space Ritual Alive in Liverpool and London is a 1973 live double album recorded in 1972 by UK rock band Hawkwind. It is their fourth album, reached #9 in the UK album charts and briefly dented the Billboard Top 200, peaking at #179. The album was recorded during the tour to promote their Doremi Fasol Latido album, which comprises the bulk of this set.

  • Captured is the title of Journey's first live album. Recorded during their Departure tour, it was released in February 1981 on the Columbia Records label. The album went on to sell two million copies. The song "Dixie Highway", had not previously been recorded on a Journey album. Closing the album is the lone studio track, "The Party's Over (Hopelessly in Love)". In the liner notes, the album is dedicated to AC/DC Lead Singer Bon Scott who died in February 1980.

  • The Island Years is Anthrax's first full-length live album. The album was released in 1994 by Megaforce Worldwide/Island Entertainment. As it's a live album, there were no new singles. Tracks one to eight were recorded at Irvine Meadows, California on October 19th, 1991. Tracks nine to twelve were recorded at the Electric Lady Studio, on January 28, 1992. The rendition of "Bring the Noise" on this album features both Anthrax and Public Enemy.

  • Live '84 is an album released by Black Flag in 1984 on SST Records. It is a live recording of a show played in 1984 and features mostly tracks from My War and Slip It In. The album was recorded at the Stone nightclub in San Francisco, CA. A live video was shot simultaneously and was briefly available through SST; the now-out-of-print video has been widely bootlegged. The album was originally issued as a cassette-only release, almost simultaneously with Family Man.
