She was the only child of Voivode of Sandomierz Otton of Pilica and Jadwiga Melsztyńska (godmother of king Jagiełło). It is common in granite and pegmatites. Microcline forms during slow cooling of orthoclase; it is more stable at lower temperatures than orthoclase.
