Gunnar Høst Sjøwall (born 22 January 1936) is a Norwegian portrait photographer and former competitive tennis player. Sjøwall had his apprenticeship with Edvard Welinder in Stockholm and was educated at Institutt for Färgfoto (Institute for Color Photography) in Lund, Sweden. He took over the studio of his father Gunnar Theodor Sjøwall in 1968. Sjøwall has completed a number of portrait assignments for the Norwegian Royal Family, the Norwegian Nobel Institute, and other large organizations. More information...
