Eskilstuna Municipality (Eskilstuna kommun) is a municipality in Södermanland County in southeast Sweden, between the lakes Mälaren and Hjälmaren. Its seat is located in the city of Eskilstuna. The present municipality was formed in 1971 when the City of Eskilstuna, the City of Torshälla and five rural municipalities were amalgamated.

The municipality had a population of 128,400 in January 2010, and the population is increasing with roughly 1600 people annually. The present municipality was created in 1971 through the amalgamation of the City of Hälsingborg with four surrounding rural municipalities.

It got its name from the small, but very old, City of Sigtuna, but the seat was placed in the much larger modern town of Märsta. The municipality prefers to use the denomination Västerås stad (City of Västerås) for the whole territory, including rural areas. The municipality evolved gradually during the municipal reforms in Sweden. Most of the amalgamations took place in 1967 and the municipality in its present form was created in 1971.
Karlskoga Municipality (Karlskoga kommun) is a municipality in Örebro County in central Sweden. Its seat is located in the city of Karlskoga. Karlskoga was formed as rural municipality when the first Swedish local government acts came into force in 1863. In 1925 the southern part was detached, forming Degerfors Municipality. In 1940 the whole municipality, including its non-urban areas, got the title of a city. These titles were abolished in 1971.

Lerum Municipality (Lerums kommun) is a municipality in Västra Götaland County in western Sweden, situated just east of Gothenburg. Its seat is located in the town of Lerum. In 1969 the municipality got its present size when "old" Lerum was amalgamated with Skallsjö and Stora Lundby. In 2007, Lerum Municipality launched a new logotype to used instead of its official municipal coat of arms which features the head of an oxen and three oak leaves.

Her performance in this film earned her a Goya Award for Best New Actress in 2006, making her the first Puerto Rican actress to win this notable award.
