  New Caledonia, is a colonial collectivity of France located in the subregion of Melanesia in the southwest Pacific. It comprises a main island (Grande Terre), the Loyalty Islands, and several smaller islands. Approximately half the size of Taiwan, it has a land area of 18,575.5 square kilometres. •  223rd Battalion (Canadian Scandinavians), CEF

  The 223rd (Scandinavians) Battalion, CEF was a unit in the Canadian Expeditionary Force during the First World War. Based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, the unit began recruiting in early 1916 in Military Districts 10, 11, 12, and 13. After sailing to England in May 1917, the battalion was absorbed into the 11th Reserve Battalion on May 14, 1917. The 223rd (Scandinavians) Battalion, CEF had one Officer Commanding: Lieut-Col. H. M. •  Flavius Stoican

  Flavius Vladimir Stoican was a Romanian footballer. He started his career at FC Drobeta and soon he left the team for Universitatea Craviova where he played for seven years. Dinamo Bucureşti bought him in 2002 and he joined the "Red Dogs". From Shakhtar Donetsk, Mircea Lucescu spotted him and Flavius moved to Donetsk. He played four years for Shakhtar and moved to FC Metalist Kharkiv where he didn't find a place in the team and he moved back for a year to Dinamo Bucureşti.

•  Caatinga Puffbird

  The Caatinga Puffbird (Nystalus maculatus) or Spot-backed Puffbird is a species of bird in the Bucconidae family, the puffbirds. It is found in eastern Brazil, eastern Bolivia, Paraguay and northern Argentina. It is found in various open to semi-open habitats, ranging from arid Caatinga to semi-humid woodland along the lower Amazon River. It is generally fairly common, and consequently considered to be of least concern by BirdLife International and IUCN.
