  • Kazagumo was a Yūgumo-class destroyer of the Imperial Japanese Navy. Her name means "Clouds Driven by Heaven's Winds". On 8 June 1944, Kazagumo was escorting Myōkō and Haguro from Davao to support Biak troop transport operations. She was torpedoed and sunk by USS Hake (SS-256) at the mouth of Davao Gulf. Asagumo rescued 133 survivors.
