    • Roosevelt "Booba" Barnes (September 25, 1936 – April 2, 1996) was an American Delta blues musician. Born in Longwood, Mississippi, Barnes got his start in 1960 as a member of the Swinging Gold Coasters, a local Mississippi blues outfit. He relocated to Chicago in 1964, where he played in bars and clubs, but returned to Mississippi in 1971 and continued to perform locally into the early 1980s.
    • 2705 Wu is a main belt asteroid with an orbital period of 1183.5173900 days. The asteroid was discovered on October 9, 1980.
    • The Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza is an 8,300-seat multi-purpose arena located in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, managed by SMG. The arena is home to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins ice-hockey team and formerly the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers. Built in 1998, the arena was originally named the Northeastern Pennsylvania Civic Arena and Convention Center.
