  • Mitchell is a city in and the county seat of Davison County, South Dakota, United States. The population was 14,558 at the 2000 census. Mitchell was incorporated in 1881. It was named for Milwaukee banker Alexander Mitchell, President of the Chicago, Milwaukee, and St. Paul Railroad. Mitchell is the principal city of the Mitchell Micropolitan Statistical Area, which includes all of Davison and Hanson counties.

  • Hansi is a city and a municipal council in Hisar district in the Indian state of Haryana. Its 2005 population is estimated to be 82,984. It is located at a distance of 16 miles east of Hisar on National Highway 10. Geographically, it is semi-arid with around 46cm of annual rainfall. It appears that at one time Hansi was larger, more prosperous and more important than Hisar. The town has several important buildings of archeological importance. It is also avery influential sub-caste of Arain.
  • Khorixas is a town in southern Kunene Region, Namibia. It was previously the capital of the Damaraland bantustan prior to Namibia's independence. It lies in Khorixas Constituency, near a petrified forest and the Twyfelfontein valley, known for its rock art. The regional hospital and some other regional offices are still located in Khorixas even though the capital of Kunene Region has been moved to the smaler and more remote Opuwo.
