    • The sandgrouse are a family, Pteroclididae, of 16 bird species, the only living members of the order Pteroclidiformes. They are restricted to treeless open country in the Old World, such as plains and semi-deserts. They are distributed across northern, southern and eastern Africa as well as Madagascar; the Middle East, India through to central Asia; and the Iberian Peninsula. Sandgrouse are traditionally placed in two genera.

    • Marina Geli (b. in Sant Gregori. 12 September 1958) is the current health minister of the Generalitat de Catalunya. Geli obtained her medical degree from the University of Barcelona. She was an intern at the Hospital Josep Trueta in Girona from 1981 to 1990. She became a specialist in the treatment of infectious diseases and AIDS. She was also involved in several associations related to the fight against AIDS.

    • "Minihamuzu no Ai no Uta" (ミニハムずの愛の唄, lit. Minihams' Love Song) is the third single of the subgroup Minimoni. It was released on December 5, 2001 and sold 325,440 copies, reaching number three on the Oricon Charts. The group released this under the alias "Mini Hamuzu" for a motion picture version of the popular anime Hamtaro. In the film they appear as hamster caricatures of themselves.
