  • Target is a 1985 film directed by Arthur Penn. It stars Matt Dillon as Chris Lloyd, a young man attempting to make his way in the world, although his parents (specifically his Father, Walter) disapprove. As such, his relationship with them is strained, and when his mother, Donna, goes on vacation to Paris, he's reluctant to stay with Walter. Chris thinks of Walter as a working-class stiff, about as much a man of action as Mr. Magoo.
