  • Mariatorget (the Maria Square) is a square and a city park in Södermalm, Stockholm, constructed at the end of the 1760s. Its original name was Adolf Fredriks torg (after King Adolphus Frederick, who reigned 1751-1771), but it was renamed "Mariatorget" in 1959 to avoid confusion with the church and parish of Adolf Fredrikskyrkan in Norrmalm. The modern name alludes to the nearby Maria Magdalena kyrka and the surrounding parish.

  • Frescati is a park-like area on the northern outskirts of Stockholm. Originally it was a part of Norra Djurgården (The Northern Royal Game Park) but was granted to the societé for building private villas. The origin of the name is the Villa Frescati, built by the architect Louis Jean Desprez for Gustaf Mauritz Armfelt in 1791-1792. The villa is named after the Italian city of Frascati, visited by King Gustavus III during his Italian journey.

  • Kungsträdgården (Swedish for "King's Garden") is a park in central Stockholm, Sweden. It is colloquially known as Kungsan. The park's central location and its outdoor cafés makes it one of the most popular hangouts and meeting places in Stockholm. It also hosts open-air concerts and events in summer, while offering an ice rink during winters. Additionally, First of May demonstrations held by the Left Party and other communist and left-wing parties usually take place here each year.

  • Berzelii Park is a small park in central Stockholm, Sweden, located next to Nybroplan and Norrmalmstorg. The park was opened in 1853 and is named after the Swedish chemist Jöns Jacob Berzelius, whose statue stands in the middle of the park. There are also other monuments in and around the park, including art by Carl Milles and a humorous statue of Hans Alfredsson sticking his head out of the sewer. Berzelii Park is also the location of Chinateatern and the restaurant Berns Salonger.

  • Hagaparken ("Haga Park"), or simply Haga in Solna Municipality just north of Stockholm, Sweden is a vast and popular nature area, with large parks, lakes, woods and gardens. Within the park is Haga Palace, King Gustav III's Pavilion, the Chinese Pavilion, the Echo Temple, an older castle ruin (which is not really a ruin as it is the remains of a castle never finished) and several other interesting buildings on the grounds (as the peculiar Copper Tents and also the Butterfly House).
