    • The Craven Week is an annual rugby union tournament organised for schoolboys in the Republic of South Africa. The tournament started in July 1964, and is named after the legendary Springbok rugby union player and coach Dr Danie Craven. The tournament has its humble beginnings in an idea by Piet Malan, then Springbok flanker, in 1949, around the time of the South African Rugby Board's 75th anniversary.

It serves the town of Penrith, Cumbria and is less than one mile from its centre. National Express coaches leave from the station's car park and there are bus links to Keswick, Workington.     • Gerrit, Count Schimmelpenninck (Amsterdam, 25 February 1794 - Arnhem, 4 October 1863) was a Dutch businessman and statesman from moderately liberal till conservative. He was the son of Grand Pensionary Rutger Jan Schimmelpenninck and member of the Dutch Reformed Church (Nederlands Hervormde kerk). After other functions, among which chief of the Nederlandsche Handel-maatschappij, he became head of secretary in Saint-Petersburg and later in London.
