  Edward Arnold 'Eddie' Chapman (16 November 1914 Burnopfield, County Durham - 11 December 1997) was a pre-war criminal and wartime spy. During the Second World War he was recruited by Nazi Germany as a spy but turned and became a British double agent code named 'Zigzag'.
