•  Sokndal

  Sokndal is a municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. It is part of the region of Dalane. The parish of Soggendal was established as a municipality on 1 January 1838. The small lading place of Sogndalstrand was separated from Sokndal as a municipality of its own in 1858, but again merged with Sokndal in 1944. Sogndalstrand is a picturesque, old fishing village, which may have inspired the municipality in becoming Norway's first member of Cittaslow.

•  Inuinnaqtun

  Inuinnaqtun (meaning Like the real human beings/peoples), an indigenous language of Canada, is a dialect of the Inuvialuktun group of Inuit languages. It is related very closely to Inuktitut, and some scholars believe that Inuinnaqtun is more appropriately classified as a dialect of Inuktitut. The governments of the Northwest Territories and Nunavut recognise Inuinnaqtun as an official language in addition to Inuktitut.
