  The Papaloapan River is one of the main rivers of the Mexican state of Veracruz. Its name is derived from the Nahuatl papalotl and apan. The Papaloapan rises in the Sierra Madre Oriental on the border between the states of Veracruz and Oaxaca. Its course takes it 122 km in a northeasterly direction before draining into Alvarado lagoon. The cities of San Juan Bautista Tuxtepec (Oaxaca) and Tlacotalpan (Veracruz) are situated on the banks of the Papaloapan.

  The Usumacinta River is a river in southeastern Mexico and northwestern Guatemala. It is formed by the junction of the Pasión River, which arises in the Sierra de Santa Cruz (in Guatemala) and the Salinas River, also known as the Chixoy, or the Negro, which descends from the Sierra Madre de Guatemala.   The Fuerte River is a river in the northwestern Mexican state of Sinaloa. It begins at the junction of the Verde and Urique rivers, on the Sierra Madre Occidental mountain range. It flows generally southwest for a distance of 290 km, emptying into the Gulf of California at Lechuguilla Island, 43 km west of the city of Los Mochis. The river is surrounded by large mango plantations which produce the fruits mainly for export to the United States.

  The Pánuco River is a river in Mexico that flows from the River Moctezuma in the Valley of Mexico to the Gulf of Mexico. At its source, it serves as a channel for water-drainage for Mexico City. From there, it becomes the state border between Hidalgo and Querétaro as it moves towards San Luis Potosí. It takes the name Río Pánuco upon reaching Veracruz. It empties into the Gulf at Tampico and Ciudad Madero, on the border between the states of Tamaulipas and Veracruz.

  The Yaqui River (Río Yaqui in Spanish) (Hiak Vatwe in Yaqui) is a river in the state of Sonora in northwestern Mexico. Being the largest river system in the state of Sonora, the Yaqui river is used for irrigation. The name SC/MP (pronounced "Scamp") is an acronym for: "Simple Cost-effective Micro Processor". It features a 16-bit address and an 8-bit data bus.   Madtsoiidae are an extinct group of mostly Gondwanan snakes with a fossil record extending from early Cenomanian to late Pleistocene strata located in South America, Africa, India, Australia and Southern Europe. Madtsoiid snakes include very primitive snakes, which like extant boas and pythons would likely dispatch their prey by constriction, such as Gigantophis, one of the longest snakes known at an estimated 10.7 meters, and the Australian Aboriginal mythology-named Wonambi and Yurlunggur.
