Asti is a city and comune of c. 75,000 inhabitants located in the Piedmont region of north-western Italy, about 55 kilometres east of Turin in the plain of the Tanaro River. It is the capital of the province of Asti and it is deemed to be the modern capital of Monferrato.

As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 8,777 and an area of 50.2 km². Ivrea lies in a basin that, in prehistoric times, formed a great lake. Today a number of 5 smaller lakes: Sirio, San Michele, Pistono, Nero and Campagna dot the area around the town.
Avigliana is a town and comune (municipality) in the Province of Turin in the Italian region Piedmont, with c. 11,000 inhabitants, located about 25 km west of Turin. Avigliana lies in the Susa valley, on the highway going from Turin to Frejus (France). It is best known for two maar lakes, Lago Grande and Lago Piccolo. In the nearby is also the massive Sacra di San Michele.
Moncalieri is a town and comune of approximately 58,000 inhabitants about eight kilometers directly south of downtown Turin (to whose province it belongs), in Piedmont, Italy. It is notable for its castle, built in the 12th century and enlarged in 15th century, which later became the favorite residence of Maria Clotilde and Victor Emmanuel II of Italy. It is part of the World Heritage Site Residences of the Royal House of Savoy.
Refrancore is a village and comune in the northwestern Italian province of Asti in the Piedmont region, located some 13 km east of Asti in the Basso Monferrato. The territory of the comune extends over an area of 13.15 km² and is largely devoted to agriculture, in particular to vineyards growing the Grignolino and Barbera wine grapes.

Painkiller is a 1990 gold-certified album by British heavy metal band Judas Priest, their 12th studio album. The album was recorded at Miraval Studios, Brignoles, France in early 1990, and mixed at Wisseloord Studios, Hilversum, the Netherlands later that year. It was the first album with current drummer Scott Travis, who was recruited from the band Saints Or Sinners. The original LP, cassette and CD versions were released on 3 September 1990. A re-mastered CD was released in May 2001.
Sedum ternatum is the most widespread native Sedum species in eastern North America, commonly known as woodland stonecrop. It has white flowers, blooming April to May. It is commonly found on rocks, but also on the ground where winter leaf cover is absent. It adapts well to garden use. S. ternatum is native to much of the eastern United States, as far west as Arkansas and Iowa, as far south as Mississippi and Georgia, and north to near the Canadian border. It has escaped cultivation in Ontario.
