Os irmãos Grimm (em alemão Brüder Grimm), Jacob e Wilhelm Grimm, nascidos em 4 de Janeiro de 1785 e 24 de Fevereiro de 1786, respectivamente, foram dois alemães que se dedicaram ao registro de várias fábulas infantis, ganhando assim grande notoriedade. Também deram grandes contribuições à língua alemã com um dicionário (O Grande Dicionário Alemão - Deutsches Wörterbuch) e estudos de lingüística, e ao estudo do folclore. More information...

  • Rumpelstiltskin is a character in a fairy tale of the same name that originated in Germany (where he is known as Rumpelstilzchen). The tale was collected by the Brothers Grimm, who first published it in the 1812 edition of Children's and Household Tales.
