  Star Alliance is the world's first and largest airline alliance. Founded in 1997, its name and emblem represent the five founding airlines, Air Canada, Lufthansa, Scandinavian Airlines System, Thai Airways International, and United Airlines. Star Alliance has since grown considerably and now has 26 member airlines. Three more airlines are expected to become members in 2010.   Vega (Vettore Europeo di Generazione Avanzata, European Advanced Generation Carrier) is an expendable launch system being developed for Arianespace jointly by the Italian Space Agency and the European Space Agency. Development began in 1998 and the first launch, which will take place from the Guiana Space Centre, is planned for November 2010 or early 2011 . It is named from the star Vega.

  Llanddaniel Fab is a village in the ward of Llanidan, south-west Anglesey, Wales. It is near the prehistoric monument of Bryn Celli Ddu which was constructed in the late neolithic period. More recently the village was hit hard by the 2001 United Kingdom foot-and-mouth crisis.
