    • This article lists political parties in Togo. Togo is a one party dominant state with the Rally of the Togolese People in power. Opposition parties are allowed, but are widely considered to have no real chance of gaining power.
    • Juvento (Mouvement de Jeunesse Togolaise, Togolese Youth Movement) was a social democratic political party in Togo. It had its roots as a youth group in the Committee of Togolese Unity (CUT) of assassinated president Sylvanus Olympio. Juvento was founded on 25 September 1951 and dissolved after the 1967 coup. In the early 1990s a new party was formed using the same name. In the parliamentary election held on 27 October 2002, the party won two out of 81 seats in the National Assembly.
    • Communist Party of Togo is a communist party in Togo, founded May 3-May 4, 1980. PCT used to follow the political line of the Albanian Party of Labour. PCT evolved out of the Communist Group of Togo (GCT), which was later known as Communist Organisation of Togo (OCT). PCT publishes Révolution. The youth wing of PCT is called Communist Youth Organisation of Togo (OJCT).

    • Party of Togolese Unity, initially known as the Committee of Togolese Unity (Comité de l'unité togolaise), was a political party in Togo. CUT was formed on 13 March 1941 and led by Sylvanus Olympio. CUT gradually became more radical, and from 1947 onwards it demanded self-determination. In 1951 a moderate wing broke away and formed the Union of Chiefs and Peoples of the North (UCPN).

    • The Union of Forces for Change is the main opposition political party in Togo. The President of the UFC is Gilchrist Olympio and its Secretary-General is Jean-Pierre Fabré. Olympio is the son of the first President of Togo, Sylvanus Olympio, who was assassinated in a 1963 coup. The UFC was founded by Olympio as a federation of parties on February 1, 1992. Olympio was barred from standing in the August 1993 presidential election on a technicality.
    • The Rally of the Togolese People is the ruling political party in Togo. The President of Togo, Faure Gnassingbé, is also the National President of the RPT. The RPT was founded in late 1969 under President Gnassingbé Eyadéma. The party's first Secretary-General was Edem Kodjo. After 22 years of single-party rule by the RPT, a National Conference was held in July–August 1991, establishing a transitional government leading to multiparty elections.
    • The Alliance of Democrats for Integral Development is a political party in Togo. The ADDI did not take part in the parliamentary election held on 27 October 2002; as part of the Coalition of Democratic Forces, it called for a boycott. It supported Emmanuel Bob-Akitani of the Union of Forces for Changes at the presidential elections of 24 April 2005, in which he won 38.1 % of the vote.
    • The Action Committee for Renewal is an opposition political party in Togo. Dodji Apévon has led the party since 2008; previously it was led by Yawovi Agboyibo from 1991 to 2008. The Front of Associations for Renewal, which was led by Agboyibo, was transformed into the CAR in April 1991. In the February 1994 parliamentary election, the CAR initially won 36 seats, more than any other party, including the ruling Rally of the Togolese People (RPT), which won 35 seats.
    • The Democratic Convention of African Peoples is a political party in Togo. The CDPA boycotted the August 1993 presidential election and the February 1994 parliamentary election. Its Secretary-General, Léopold Gnininvi, was a candidate in the June 1998 presidential election, receiving less than 1% of the vote and taking fifth place. The CDPA did not take part in the parliamentary election held on 27 October 2002; as part of the Coalition of Democratic Forces, it called for a boycott.

    • Callaway County is a county located in the U.S. state of Missouri. It is part of the Jefferson City, Missouri Metropolitan Statistical Area. As of 2000, the population was 40,766.
