Duesberg (born December 2, 1936 in Germany) is a professor of molecular and cell biology at the University of California, Berkeley, best known for identifying and mapping the src gene, considered the first true oncogene, in 1970, and more recently for his claims that HIV is harmless and not the cause of AIDS.   • The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's (SEC's) Regulation Fair Disclosure, also commonly referred to as Regulation FD or Reg FD was an SEC ruling implemented in October 2000. It mandated that all publicly traded companies must disclose material information to all investors at the same time. The regulation sought to stamp out selective disclosure, in which some investors received market moving information before others (often smaller, individual investors).

  • Yusuf ibn Ahmad al-Mu'taman ibn Hud was an Arab mathematician and a member of the Banu Hud family, al-Mutamin ruled Zaragoza from 1082 to 1085. He was the son of the previous ruler, Ahmad ibn Sulayman al-Muqtadir. He also wrote Kitab al-Istikmal (Arabic,كتاب الإستكمال, Book of Perfection) in mathematics.

  • Gregorio Pacheco Leyes (1823 – 1899) was the constitutional President of Bolivia from 1884 to 1888. A native of Potosí, Pacheco won a disputed election that was a virtual three-way tie between him, Conservative leader Aniceto Arce, and Liberal chief Eliodoro Camacho. Pacheco was a wealthy man and the country's foremost philanthropist.
