  The Germ was a periodical established by the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood to disseminate their ideas. It was not a success, only existing for four issues between January and April 1850. The first ruler was Feqî Ehmed (Ahmad Al-Fakih in Arabic), whose grandson became powerful in the Sharazur region. Ahmad's successor, Baba Sulaiman extended his influence to Kirkuk.   G.O.R.A. is a 2004 Turkish comedy film written by Cem Yılmaz and directed by Ömer Faruk Sorak. It stars Cem Yılmaz, Özkan Uğur, Ozan Güven, İdil Fırat, Özge Özberk and Erdal Tosun. The soundtrack was produced by Sagopa Kajmer and the film score was composed by Ozan Çolakoğlu. Cem Yılmaz plays both the protagonist and the villain in a dual role. The film is about a used carpet salesman Arif (played by Cem Yılmaz) who is mistakenly kidnapped by aliens from the planet G.O.R.A.

It is one of the few schools in Harford County, Maryland to have a Future Farmers of America, and the only school in Harford County to have a barn with a semi-working farm on campus. The Los Angeles May Day mêlée was a May Day pro-illegal immigration rally which occurred on May 1, 2007, at MacArthur Park. When protesters began blocking the street, police ordered the crowd to disperse. Some people did so but others began rioting.
