Korinos has approximately 5000 citizens and it's located 5 km northeast of the city of Katerini (Κατερίνη), the capital of Pieria prefecture.   • Litochoro is a town and municipality located in the southern part of the prefecture of Pieria at the base of Mount Olympus. The town is about 90 km from Thessaloniki, on the western shore of the Thermaic Gulf. The first recorded mention of Litochoro is in an account of a visit by Saint Dionysus to Mount Olympus. The town is a popular destination for those wishing to climb Mount Olympus as almost all climbing routes begin to the southwest of the town.

Paralia is linked with GR-13 and GR-1/E75 including the superhighway. The beach is situated in the Olympian Riviera. Paralia is famous for its hotels, taverns, restaurants, bars and nightclub (discothèques). The Thermian Gulf is situated to the east. The sandy coastline covers almost all of its coastline.

Pydna is linked with GR-1/E75 through its interchange to its west and in Kitros. The old highway ran through Pydna.

It is a picturesque mountain village situated at the beginning of a large gorge leading down to a pleasant beach. Wealth derives from its surrounding farm land and from shipping. In recent years this pretty village has become known for its nearby cave, which is now accessible to the public.
