Saquinavir is an antiretroviral drug used in HIV therapy. It falls in the protease inhibitor class. Two formulations have been marketed: a hard-gel capsule formulation of the mesylate, with trade name Invirase, which requires combination with ritonavir to increase the saquinavir bioavailability; a soft-gel capsule formulation of saquinavir, with trade name Fortovase. Both formulations are generally used as a component of highly active antiretroviral therapy (HAART).
The Grey-backed Hawk (Leucopternis occidentalis) is a species of bird of prey in the Accipitridae family. It is found in Ecuador and Peru. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests and subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests. It is threatened by habitat loss.
Osvaldo Álvarez Guerrero was an Argentine Radical Civic Union politician. He served as Governor of Río Negro Province and as a National Deputy. Álvarez Guerrero joined the Radical Civic Union of the People (UCRP, the strand led by Ricardo Balbín) in 1958 in his home town of Vicente López, a suburb of Buenos Aires. He qualified as a lawyer and relocated to Viedma in Río Negro Province in 1964.
