The Rothschild family (known as The House of Rothschild, or more simply as the Rothschilds) is a European dynasty of German Jewish origin that established European banking and finance houses from the late 1700s. Five brothers of the Austrian branch of the family were given hereditary baronies of the Habsburg Empire by Emperor Francis II in 1816. The British branch of the family was elevated into the nobility by Queen Victoria.
Benjamin Olinde Rodrigues (1795–1851), more commonly known as Olinde Rodrigues, was a French banker, mathematician, and social reformer. Rodrigues was born into a well-to-do Portuguese Jewish family in Bordeaux, France. Rodrigues was awarded a doctorate in mathematics on 28 June 1815 by the University of Paris. His dissertation contains the result now called Rodrigues' formula. After graduation, Rodrigues became a banker.
Achille Fould (November 17, 1800 – October 5, 1867) was a French financier and politician. Born in Paris, the son of a successful Jewish banker, he was associated with and afterwards succeeded his father in the management of the business. As early as 1842 he entered political life, having been elected in that year as a deputy for the department of the Hautes-Pyrénées. From that time to his death he actively busied himself with the affairs of his country.
Jules Paul Benjamin Delessert (14 February 1773 – 1847) was a French banker and naturalist. He was born at Lyon, the son of Étienne Delessert (1735–1816), the founder of the first fire insurance company and the first discount bank in France. Young Delessert was travelling in England when the French Revolution broke out, but he hastened back to join the Paris National Guard in 1790, becoming an officer of artillery in 1793.
Henri Cernuschi (Enrico Cernuschi in Italian) (1821-02-19 in Milan - 1896-05-11 in Menton), was a major French banker, economist and Asian art collector, who started off as an Italian politician in 1848-1850. He was born of wealthy parents at Milan, and was destined for the legal profession. During his studies he became involved in the revolutionary movement.

Brachycephaly, also known as flat-head syndrome, is a type of cephalic disorder. This occurs when the coronal suture fuses prematurely, causing a shortened front-to-back diameter of the skull. The coronal suture is the fibrous joint that unites the frontal bone with the two parietal bones of the skull. The parietal bones form the top and sides of the skull. This feature can be seen in Down Syndrome.
Akshinsky District is a district of Zabaykalsky Krai. The district's administrative center is the village (selo) of Aksha. District's population: 12,080; 14,695. Area: 7,400 km². The district was founded on January 4, 1926. It is located some 300 kilometers (190 mi) south of Chita. The district borders Ononsky, Uletovsky, and Kyrinsky Districts of Zabaykalsky Krai, and Mongolia. The Onon River flows through the district. The district's landscape is suitable for agriculture.

Kummerow is a municipality in the district of Demmin, in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. It is often called Kummerow am See to avoid confusion with Kummerow near Stralsund. The timber framed village church and the baroque castle at the lake are notable landmarks.
