  • Kryptonite is a fictional element from the Superman mythos, originating in the Superman radio show series. Despite the name, it has no connection to the real chemical element krypton. The material is usually shown as having been created from the remains of Superman's native planet of Krypton, and generally has detrimental effects on Superman and other Kryptonians. The name "kryptonite" covers a variety of forms of the substance, but usually refers to the most common "green" form.

  • The Lezgins (other spellings Lezgin, Lezgi, Lezgis, Lezgs, and Lezgians) are an ethnic group, living predominantly in southern Dagestan and north-eastern Azerbaijan, who speak the Lezgian language. In the 19th century, the term was used more broadly for all ethnic groups speaking Northeast Caucasian languages, including Caucasian Avars, Laks, and many others. Today, the Lezgins are predominately Sunni Muslims, with a Shi'a minority.

  • The Devil and Kate, Op. 112, B.201, (Čert a Káča in Czech) is an opera in three acts by Antonín Dvořák to a Czech libretto by Adolf Wenig. It is based on a farce by Josef Kajetán Tyl, and the story also had been treated in the Fairy Tales of Božena Němcová. The first performance of the opera was at the National Theatre, Prague, on 23 November 1899. The Devil and Kate is one of the few operas of Dvořák, along with Rusalka, to have remained in the repertory.
