Sua população estimada em 2004 era de 12.978 habitantes. Possui uma área de 5188,9 km². Araguaçu localiza-se na fronteira com Goiás, sendo intenso o trânsito veicular e humano entre os dois estados, além de se situar entre dois importantes rios: Araguaia e Formoso. More information...
