Summary

Šiška is the most populous of the city quarters of Ljubljana, the capital city of Slovenia. Its most eminent historical monument is the ancient church of St. Bartholomew, built in the 13th century at the site of an ancient Roman cemetery, on the outskirts of the Roman castrum of Colonia Iulia Aemona .
