    • Oberlin College is a private liberal arts college in Oberlin, Ohio, noteworthy for having been the first American institution of higher learning to regularly admit female and black students. The college's motto is "Learning and Labor. " While its school colors are often casually referred to as "crimson and gold," they are actually cardinal red and mikado yellow.
    • Kalamazoo College, also known as K College or simply K, is a private liberal arts college located in Kalamazoo, Michigan, United States. Founded in 1833, the institution was American Baptist in origin, and acknowledges its historical relationship with that denomination, but today maintains no religious affiliation.
    • Haverford College is a private, coeducational liberal arts college located in Haverford, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia. The college was founded in 1833 by area members of the Orthodox Philadelphia Yearly Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) to ensure an education grounded in Quaker values for young Quaker men. It is the oldest college or university in the United States with Quaker origins.

    • Mercer University is an independent, private, coeducational university with a Baptist heritage located in the U.S. state of Georgia. Mercer is the only university of its size in the United States that offers programs in eleven diversified fields of study: liberal arts, business, education, music, engineering, medicine, nursing, pharmacy, law, theology, and continuing and professional studies. Mercer enrolls approximately 8,000 students in its eleven colleges and schools.
    • King William's College (Colleish Ree Illiam in Manx) is an independent school for ages 3 to 18, situated near Castletown on the Isle of Man. The College is located on two sites in Castletown; the main estate which takes pride of place on the shore of Castletown Bay, and The Buchan School which is the College's preparatory school, located in the Westhill part of Castletown, some two miles from the main campus.
    • St. Malachy's College is the oldest Roman Catholic grammar school in the province of Ulster, and one of the oldest in Ireland‎. It was founded in 1833 by Bishop William Crolly, about 50 years after the repeal of the penal laws, which had outlawed, among other things, the celebration of the Catholic Mass, and the provision for the education of the Catholics of Ireland. The school is located on the former site of Vicinage Park, just north of Belfast city centre. St.
    • Merchiston Castle School is a private boarding school located in the village of Colinton in Edinburgh, Scotland. It has approximately 450 pupils and is only open to boys between the ages of 8 and 18 as either boarders or day pupils; day pupils make up 35% of the school. It is the only male single sex school remaining in Scotland. Academic standards are high and results consistently very good.
