Neal Casal (born November 2, 1968) is an American guitarist and singer-songwriter, best known for his work with Ryan Adams and the Cardinals. Casal has also played in Hazy Malaze. To date, Casal has released nine studio albums under his own name. Casal began his musical career in the early 1990s, and joined The Cardinals after J.P. Bowersock left the band in 2005. Also a photographer, Casal's photographs have been used in the artwork of some of the Cardinals' releases.
