  • Karabük is a province in northern central Turkey. The main city is Karabük which is located about 200 km north of Ankara and about 100 km south of the Black Sea coast.   • The 1988 UEFA European Football Championship final tournament was held in West Germany. It was the eighth European Football Championship, which is held every four years and supported by UEFA. The final tournament took place between 10 June and 25 June 1988. At the time, only eight countries could compete in the final tournament. Seven countries had to qualify for the final stage.
