The Museum of Islamic Art is a museum located in the Qatari capital Doha and designed by architect I. M. Pei. The museum draws much influence from ancient Islamic architecture yet has a unique design. It was the first of its kind in the Persian Gulf and has a very large collection of Islamic art, plus a study, a library, and several restaurants. Sabiha Al Khemir served as the founding director of the museum from 2006-2008. More information...

It is the dominant building of the inner city and is situated near the central square, called Ploshchad Pobedy (Victory Square). The Russian Orthodox cathedral is designed in a simplified and modernized variety of the Russo-Byzantine style which was popular in Imperial Russia. The cathedral is 70 meters high.   • Thermae Bath Spa is a modern spa in the city of Bath, England, opened in 2006. It is owned by the local Bath and North East Somerset council, and operated by the Thermae Development Company. The main spa has two natural thermal baths, a rooftop pool and an indoor pool, a large steam room glass-partitioned into four circular zones, and body treatment facilities. Most of the facilities are in a modern building designed by Grimshaw Architects, with the older Cross Bath in a separate building.

  • Plaza 66 is a commercial and office complex in Shanghai, consisting of a shopping mall and two skyscrapers. The shopping mall has 5 levels with total area over 50,000 square metres. The taller one office tower, Tower One, is 288 m high and was completed in 2001, while Tower 2 is 228 m high and was completed in 2006.
