  The cassowary is a very large flightless bird native to the tropical forests of New Guinea, nearby islands and northeastern Australia. The Southern Cassowary is the third tallest and second heaviest living bird, smaller only than the Ostrich and Emu. It is a large, crow-sized falcon, with a blue-gray back, barred white underparts, and a black head and "moustache". This family is composed of four species in one genus, Pardalotus, and several subspecies. The name derives from a Greek word meaning "spotted".   Mijailo Mijailović is the Serbian nationalself-confessed and convicted assassin of the Swedish Minister for Foreign Affairs Anna Lindh, whom he stabbed on September 10, 2003. She died early the following day after unsuccessful surgical treatment to try to save her life. Swedish newspapers have suggested that he was released from a mental institution just five days before the killing of Lindh, that he has serious mental problems, and had previously been convicted of violent crimes.
