  • From 1997 to 1999, the band King Crimson "fraKctalised" into four sub-groups known as ProjeKcts, one of which was ProjeKct One. ProjeKct One began as a suggestion by drummer Bill Bruford to fellow King Crimson band member, guitarist Robert Fripp that they do some improvisational shows together. Fripp suggested adding Trey Gunn (Warr guitar) and Bruford, to maintain a balance, suggested adding Tony Levin (bass, Stick), both also of King Crimson.
  • From 1997 to 1999, the band King Crimson "fraKctalised" into four sub-groups known as the ProjeKcts, one of which was ProjeKct Two. ProjeKct Two featured members Robert Fripp (guitar), Trey Gunn (Warr guitar, talker) and Adrian Belew (V-drums). It was the second of the ProjeKcts to be planned, thus its name, but the first to play and record. Belew is the lead vocalist and a guitarist in King Crimson, but in ProjeKct Two he plays V-drums, a type of electronic drum kit.
  • From 1997 to 1999, the band King Crimson "fraKctalised" into four sub-groups known as ProjeKcts, one of which was ProjeKct Three or simply P3. This third 'fraKctal' featured members Robert Fripp (guitar), Trey Gunn (Warr guitar, talker), and Pat Mastelotto (drums). It was the last of the planned sub-groups to perform. On March 3, 2003, P3 performed instead of King Crimson at the Birchmere in the Washington, DC, area, as Adrian Belew was taken ill that night.

  • Jazz Café Suite is a live album by ProjeKct One, one of the four sub-groups known as ProjeKcts into which the band King Crimson 'fraKctalised' from 1997 to 1999. The album was released on Discipline Global Mobile records in 2003. The album was recorded at The Jazz Café in Camden, London, United Kingdom between December 1 and December 4, 1997. All of the tracks featured on this disc consist of group improvisations, spliced together from different performances.

  • ProjeKct Six is a side project of the music band King Crimson, part of the long-running ProjeKct series which serves as research and development avenue for the more "mainstream" King Crimson group.

Devoted to instrumental and heavily improvised music, the ProjeKcts were most active from 1997 to 1999, but have performed intermittently since.
