  Per Heimly is a Norwegian photographer and editor of the international trend magazine Fjords. Heimly comes from the little village Snubba, municipality of Evenes in Nordland county. Heimly is known as a friend of Ari Behn for eight years before Behn got married to HRH princess Märtha Louise.

•  Anders Beer Wilse

  Anders Beer Wilse (12 June 1865 - 21 February 1949) was a Norwegian photographer whose photography visually documented Norway in the early to mid-20th century. Wilse was born in Flekkefjord, but grew up in Kragerø and decided early to become a sailor. After having graduated with a technical degree from the technical school in Horten in 1882, he emigrated to the United States in 1884.

•  Gunnar Høst Sjøwall

  Gunnar Høst Sjøwall (born 22 January 1936) is a Norwegian portrait photographer and former competitive tennis player. Sjøwall had his apprenticeship with Edvard Welinder in Stockholm and was educated at Institutt for Färgfoto (Institute for Color Photography) in Lund, Sweden. He took over the studio of his father Gunnar Theodor Sjøwall in 1968. Sjøwall has completed a number of portrait assignments for the Norwegian Royal Family, the Norwegian Nobel Institute, and other large organizations.

•  Elisabeth Meyer

  Elisabeth Meyer (1899 – 1968) was a Norwegian photographer who is best known for her photojournastic work from travels through Iran and India in the 1920s and 1930s, among them early photographs of Mahatma Gandhi. According to unverified sources, she may have been the first Western woman to travel through Iran. Meyer was born in Tønsberg to an affluent family. Her father gave her a Kodak Folding Camera for her travels, which seems to have led to her professional choice later.

•  Knud Knudsen (photographer)

  Knud Knudsen (1832-1915) was one of Norway's first professional photographers. His work includes images from most of Norway in his time and documents much of Norwegian history and ethnology in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Knudsen was born in Odda, the son of a merchant who was also a pomologist. His professional career started as a retail clerk in Bergen, and in 1862 he traveled to Reutlingen to study pomology.

  Knut Bry (born 1946 in Hallingdal) is a Norwegian photographer. Bry has no formal education as a photographer and chose his profession in 1975, 29 years old. He has won a number of photographic awards, among them Photographer of the Year in the United States in 1986 and in Norway in 1989. He has permanent exhibits at the Henie-Onstad Art Centre, the Preus Museum, and Nord Norske Kunstsamlinger. His work has also been exhibited at Espace Canon in Paris, in Norilsk, and various museums in Norway.

  Kåre Kivijärvi (born 1938 in Hammerfest - 1991) was a Norwegian photographer known for his photojournalistic work in Northern Norway. Kivijärvi was born into a Kven family and always professed a connection to his ethnic heritage and to Finland. After working as a photographer's apprentice in Finnmark Dagblad, he was in 1959 accepted at Folkwangschule für Gestaltung in Essen, Germany, where he studied with Otto Steinert.

  Kristin Lodoen or Kristin Linder (born 18 April 1966 in Lillehammer) is a Norwegian photographer, visual artist, dancer and choreographer. Linder studied photography at International Center of Photography, part time studies, New York, 1997–2002, and dance at Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance, New York, 1990–1995. She also studied choreography at State University of New York at Purchase in 1992/93, and dance at Kunsthøgskolen in Oslo, BFA, 1987–90.

•  Mattis Mathiesen

  Mattis Mathiesen (born 30 June 1924) is a Norwegian photographer and film director. He did the photography for, among others, Elskere (1963) and Vildanden (1963, TV 1989). In 1970 he won the Aamot-statuetten. He was also the photographer for the Olsenbanden films. He was the producer of Viva Villaveien! (1989) and distributor of Fredrikssons fabrikk (1994).
