  • John Ruskin (8 February 1819 – 20 January 1900) was an English art critic and social thinker, also remembered as a poet and artist. His essays on art and architecture were extremely influential in the Victorian and Edwardian eras. Ruskin first came to widespread attention for his support for the work of J. M. W. Turner and his defence of naturalism in art. He subsequently put his weight behind the Pre-Raphaelite movement.

  • The Bandidos Motorcycle Club, also known as the Bandido Nation, is a "one-percenter" motorcycle gang and organized crime syndicate with a worldwide membership. The club was formed in 1966 by Don Chambers in Texas. Its slogan is We are the people our parents warned us about. It is estimated to have 2,400 members in 210 chapters, located in 16 countries. The club considers itself to be an Outlaw Motorcycle Club.

  • "Geki" was the racing pseudonym of Giacomo Russo (October 23, 1937 in Milan – June 18, 1967 at Caserta), who was a racing driver from Italy. A talented driver in the Italian lower formulae, he also participated in 3 Formula One Italian Grands Prix from 1964-66, failing to qualify for the 1964 race, driving a Brabham for Rob Walker. For his two Grand Prix starts, he drove for Team Lotus. He scored no championship points.

  • The Pagans Motorcycle Club is a one-percenter motorcycle gang and organized crime syndicate formed by Lou Dobkin (or Dobkins) in 1959 in Prince George's County, Maryland. Known simply The Pagans colloquially, the club rapidly expanded and by 1965, the Pagans, originally clad in blue denim jackets and riding Triumphs, began to evolve along the lines of the stereotypical one percenter motorcycle club. The Pagans are categorized as an outlaw motorcycle gang by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
  • The Breed Motorcycle Club is a one-percenter motorcycle gang that was formed 65 miles northeast of Philadelphia in Asbury Park, New Jersey in 1968. It was at one time one of the most powerful and feared biker gangs in the Northeastern United States, with a number of chapters in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
  • The Free Souls Motorcycle Club is a one-percenter motorcycle gang that was formed in Eugene, Oregon in 1968. The club has over 100 members and there are a number of club chapters throughout the U.S. state of Oregon and a single chapter in Vancouver, Washington. The club's insignia is an ankh, the ancient Egyptian symbol of eternal life, and their "colors" are blue and white.
  • The Highwaymen Motorcycle Club is a one-percenter motorcycle gang that was formed in Detroit, Michigan in 1954. The club has over a hundred members in Michigan alone and there are now chapters in Florida, Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee, as well as in Norway. Their insignia is a winged skeleton wearing a motorcycle cap and leather jacket, and their colors are black and silver.
  • The Gypsy Joker Motorcycle Club (GJMC), or the Gypsy Jokers as they are called in Australia, are an outlaw motorcycle club that was originally formed in San Francisco, California on April Fool's Day, 1956. They are one of the most notorious and violent motorcycle gangs in both the US and in Australia. They were forced out of San Francisco by the Hells Angels, however, and they relocated to Oregon and Washington in 1967, taking up temporary residence in Lincoln City, Oregon.
  • The Rebels Motorcycle Club is an outlaw motorcycle club in Australia with around 70 chapters and 2,000 members nation-wide. This makes them the largest club in the country. It was founded by Clint Jacks in Brisbane, Queensland in 1969 and was originally named the "Confederates". Their insignia is a Confederate flag with a cap-wearing skull and 1% patch in the centre.
