  The Janjua Rajput (also spelt Janjooa, Janjuha, Janjuah) is a Rajput royal warrior clan of Northern India and Pakistan. They have been referred to as the most Valiant Warriors of Punjab. Their warlike nature and dominant rule of their kingdoms against other tribes earned them a powerful reputation in Western Punjab and the Valley of Kashmir.   Virk (विर्क) Wirk (विर्क) Birk (बिर्क) Vrik (वृक) Varika (वरिक) is a gotra of the Jat clan found in Punjab and Rajasthan. Typically, Virks are tall, thin and fair-skinned. In western Punjab, Virks are supposed to belong to the Mahe dynasty and Minhas are considered to be brethren of the Virks. Birk and Virk gotras are of the same origin.   Sir Samuel William Knaggs, KCMG (25 December 1856 – 31 December 1924) was a British colonial administrator. Knaggs was born in Old Swindon, Wiltshire, England, the second of the nine children of Robert Knaggs, a surgeon, and Harriet Eliza Knaggs (née Wright). Knaggs was sent to the Royal College, Trinidad, and entered the Trinidad Civil Service in 1876. In 1886 he was the secretary of the commission inquiring into the road system.
