  Scooch are a British bubblegum dance group, comprising performers Natalie Powers, Caroline Barnes, David Ducasse and Russ Spencer. Scooch represented the United Kingdom in the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 in Helsinki with their song "Flying the Flag (for You)", finishing 23rd out of 24 entries after receiving 19 points in the final.   The Ark is a Swedish glam rock band formed in 1991 by Ola Salo, Mikael Jepson, and Lasse ”Leari” Ljungberg, when Ola Salo and Leari were only fourteen years old. Salo lived in Rottne, Växjö Municipality, in Sweden when he was a child. It was while living in Rottne, in 1991, that he and his friends Jepson and Leari officially started the band The Ark. It was announced on December 12, 2006 that Sopho would represent her home nation at the Eurovision Song Contest 2007. The song "Visionary Dream" was Georgia's first entry into the contest. The song was previously called "My Story". In the semifinal on May 10, 2007 Sopho finished eighth; as one of the Top 10 qualifiers she secured a spot for Georgia in the final.
