  • Džej Ramadanovski is a popular Romani singer in Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina (among other ex Yugoslav republics). He speaks Serbian and Romani. His nickname is Džeki. He currently resides in Vienna and in Belgrade, in part of town known as Dorcol. In 1989, he made a cameo appearance in the movie Hajde da se volimo 2, even performing one of his songs in the movie.

  • Janika Balázs (December 23, 1925 in Lukino Selo in Zrenjanin municipality – November 12, 1988 in Novi Sad) was a famous tamburitza musician and band leader from Vojvodina, Serbia.

  • Boban Marković is a Serbian trumpet player and brass ensemble leader from Vladičin Han, frequently recognized as the greatest trumpet player to emerge from the Balkans. He and his brass band have received world acclaim and won numerous awards.

  • Sinan Sakić is a Serbian folk singer from Roma descent. He launched his career back in 1978 with the singles "Rastanak kraj reke" and "Sreli smo se mnogo kasno". As of 2006, he has released 27 music albums. He gained his first musical experience from his father who was a musician in the military orchestra. In some parts of Serbia there is a graffiti on the side of a road to Obrenovac that reads: Bog na nebu - Sinan na zemlji (God in heaven - Sinan on earth).
  • Dragan Kojić (known professionally as Dragan Kojić Keba and Keba and Alisha P) is a Serbian singer. He has been singing for a long time, estimated around 15 to 30 years and has released many albums. His daughter, Nataša Kojic Tasa, is also a popular singer.
  • Tanja Savić (Тања Савић) is a Serbian folk singer. She became famous after competing on a first season of the Zvezde Granda television singing contest and making it into the final six. Despite not winning the grand finale, her public profile was raised sufficiently for Grand Production record label to sign her to a contract. This led to debut album Tako mlada that turned into a major success, paving the way for a career that followed.
  • Raјko Đurić (Рајко Ђурић) is a Serbian Romani writer and academic. He is also politically active as the leader of one of Roma parties in Serbia - Roma Union of Serbia. He studied philosophy at the Philosophical Faculty in Belgrade (1967 - 1972). In 1986 he obtained a Doctorate of Sociology writing the dissertation Culture of the Roma in S.F.R. Yugoslavia. In 1991 he moved to Berlin avoiding the implication of the Yugoslavian wars.
  • Šajn Srđan (Срђан Шајн) is a Serbian politician. He is the leader of one of Roma parties in Serbia - Roma Party. He was first elected to the Serbian Parliament in January, 2007, one of only two deputies specifically representing the Romani constituency.
  • Marija Šerifović is a Serbian singer. She won the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 with the song Molitva. Šerifović was born in Kragujevac, Socialist Republic of Serbia, Yugoslavia and is the daughter of Verica Šerifović, also a notable singer. She was also one of the judges on Eurosong to choose the Irish entry for Eurovision Song Contest 2008 and sung Molitva to close the show.
